A collection of songs written and recorded by Pokstar (a.k.a. Pok Spacegoat) circa 2005. Many ecologically- and politically-themed songs are featured.
[Notes by Pok:] This album was written whilst at St George's Church, Tufnell Park, a squatted round church built in proportion to Shakespeare's Globe and the Temple of Solomon. Before it was altered by the Nigerian Pentecostal Church, this building possessed the perfect internal space for harmonics of the human voice to resonate and be perfectly heard.
The plastic wasteland of southern Spain where supermarket salads are grow in toxic water by illegal immigrants was the inspiration for Supermarket Kid. The album has lighter moments, but the theme of an Earth in a critical state is throughout.
Some of the songs could be redone, such as Poison in the Water and Corn Keys, but I have included them anyway.
Sinclair played drums and I did the rest with mandola, bass, a Korg mini-synth and vocal chords.
